Nazaré Mavericks is a concept site helping beginner surfers find and book coastal surf lessons. The goal was a simple, engaging experience to learn about lessons, view schedules, and book with confidence. The design focused on beginners’ needs, making lessons approachable, organized, and accessible.

Reflrction

This project helped me better understand how to design for beginner users and simplify complex experiences. During the process, I realized that my initial layouts felt cluttered and overwhelming, which could make it difficult for users to navigate the site confidently.

By refining the layout, improving color hierarchy, and creating more consistent components, I produced a clearer and more user-friendly experience.

If I were to continue improving this project, I would spend more time refining the user persona and testing the design with real users to validate my decisions better.
